Draft notice

This page is a working outline, not an effective policy or a final statement of customer rights. Final terms will be published before the relevant service or sale opens.

01

Information we collect

We expect to collect information you choose to send us, information needed to fulfill an order, and limited technical information needed to operate and improve the site.

  • Contact details and the contents of messages sent to Lab US.
  • Order, payment, shipping, and transaction information handled with our service providers.
  • Product support details, including device information and files you choose to share.
  • Basic page views and a small set of product, checkout, and contact-button events collected through Fathom Analytics when analytics is enabled.

02

Minimal analytics

When enabled, Fathom Analytics measures public page visits, pre-order button clicks, cart or preorder actions, checkout visits, and successful copies of our contact email. Contact events contain no message or email-address data. Page addresses omit query strings and fragments, and external referrers are reduced to their site origin. We honor Do Not Track and exclude local development, preview domains, and internal design pages. A visit to the checkout confirmation page is not recorded as a completed payment. We do not add advertising trackers or behavioral profiles.

03

How we use information

We expect to use information to answer questions, provide products and support, operate the store, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, and understand how the site and products are working.

04

Service providers and sharing

Lab US will not sell personal information. We expect to use Fathom for limited website analytics and Stripe for payment processing, alongside vendors that help host the site, ship products, provide customer support, or meet legal requirements. The final policy will name or describe the relevant categories of providers.

05

Retention, security, and choices

The final policy will explain how long information is kept, the safeguards used to protect it, and the choices and rights available to customers in different locations.

Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@lab-us.com while this policy is being finalized.
