The work
Ceramics bring mass, tactility, heat behavior, surface, and a completely different relationship to manufacturing. We want to test where those qualities can make a computing object better or simply more alive.
What we would make together
- 01Prototype shells, tiles, controls, stands, and desk-scale objects.
- 02Advise on bodies, firing, glazing, tolerances, mounting, and repeatability.
- 03Develop pieces that could move from one-off studies into small production.
How this role starts
Project-based collaboration with the possibility of producing final objects or developing an ongoing material program together.
